MUSIC AT GRACE

Come find a home in one (or more!) of Grace’s fun and supportive musical communities.
PRAISE BAND
Tuesdays   6:30-8:00 PM
Rotating teams of musicians that lead music at our 9:35 AM contemporary Sunday services. To find out more about this opportunity, please contact our contemporary worship leader, Dave Shover, at daveshover@gracehummelstown.org.

HANDBELLS
Wednesdays   6:00 – 7:30 PM
Grace is blessed with a wonderful handbell program. If you can read music and are interested in joining this vibrant community of musicians, reach out to our handbell director, Holly Brubaker, for information at hbrubaker137@comcast.net.

CHANCEL CHOIR
Thursdays   7:00-8:30 PM
Our adult choral ensemble is open to singers who are 16 years old and older. Basic music reading skills are a benefit, but not required. This is a friendly and caring community united by our faith and love for music. We’d love to have you join us!

YOUTH MUSIC ENSEMBLE
Thursdays   6:00 – 6:45 PM

Led by our music director, Andrew Meade, this ensemble is open to all middle and high school youth.  It provides a fun and supportive community for youth to use and develop their musical skills through singing and handbell ringing.

CHILDREN’S CHOIR
Thursdays   6:15 – 6:45 PM

Led by Vicky Salisbury and open to children ages 4 through 11, this group discovers the joy of praising God through song. They typically participate in worship one Sunday a month.  Please contact Vicky if your child(ren) would like to be part of this group at vickysalisbury@gracehummelstown.org.

ORCHESTRA
Monthly on Sundays

If you play an orchestral instrument (strings, woodwind, brass) we have a spot for you in our worship orchestra!  This is a fun, low-commitment way to use your musical gifts.  We rehearse one Sunday a month immediately after the 10:45 service and then accompany the hymns at the following week’s 10:45 service.

AND MORE…

Brass ensemble, flute choir, vocal and instrumental solos/duets/trios, etc.: there are always opportunities for children, youth, and adults to get involved outside of our regular ensembles listed above.
