Heifer Project
Grace is excited to begin their partnership with the Heifer Project as a new international mission outreach opportunity. This outreach will be featured during the Advent Season at Grace so look for the information at the Mission Area in the main lobby.
The Mission of the Heifer Project is to end hunger and poverty in partnership with the communities we serve. Our programs support entrepreneurs around the world, creating lasting change from the ground up. It begins with a seed of investment of livestock or agriculture, followed by mentorship to help project participants build a business, and ultimately to gain access to supply chains and markets. These families are able to earn a living income and continuously lift up their communities as they train the next generation of leaders. By supporting and training the world’s farmers, ranchers, and female business owners, we’re investing in a new breed of success.
Sierra Leone Initiative
Grace is committed to partnering with our brothers and sisters in Sierra Leone under the initiative established by the UMC. We currently provide financial support which allows the local churches to continue their mission of sharing God’s love and making disciples.
