Adult Christian Education Opportunities

Grace UMC Sunday School is held year round at the times outlined below. Our goal is to grow and strengthen our faith and understanding of the love of Christ in our adults. We follow the UMC Safe Sanctuary standards of oversight. Our various Adult Christian Education classes are outlined below. If you have any questions on which class might best suit your needs, please contact our Director of Discipleship, Tammy Houck at
At this time, all adult small groups are meeting virtually. Grace plans to reassess re-entry into the building for small groups after Easter (Sunday, April 4th, 2021).

          • Current Study: “The Happiness Project” / by: Gretchen Ruben
          • The Happiness Project describes one person’s year-long attempt to discover what leads to true contentment. Join the ladies as they read the book and engage in lively discussions.
      • Men of Connections – gather online on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month.
          • Current Study: “Work as Worship” / by: J.D. Greear
          • Through powerful biblical teaching, real-life documentary stories and engaging video illustrations, this series will help us understand the biblical mandate for work. We have been called to work with excellence, integrity, and diligence, and our careers are opportunities to be on mission for Christ in the marketplace. God gives us great potential for impact on our families, churches, communities and the world through the blessing of our work.
FOCUS (Friends of Christ United in Sunday School)

      • In this Book of the Bible series, Kyle Idleman dives into the book of Galatians, one that contains some of the clearest explanations of the gospel in the New Testament. Through biblical study and engaging lessons, Kyle shows that true freedom is found in surrender, not self-dependence. Because our gospel is not one based on our words, but faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.
  • The class encourages you to join them in being connected, experiencing broad topics, typically online video segments,  that help you grow in faith and understanding – all while enjoying being a part of a community who not only prays together but shares laughter along the way!

  • You will prepare for the interactive discussion by pre-reading material.  The group invites you to join them as they delve deeper into God’s Word and real-life application as they encourage one another.
