January 2012
January 1 - No GUMY. Enjoy the New Year with your family and friends.
January 7 - Creative Ministries Boot Camp from 10 until 12 noon. This is a session for any new members who are interested in learning more about our creative minis-tries (Grace Puppet Squad, Sticks, etc.). Basics will be reviewed and current mem-bers will be available to teach and discuss future ideas and plans.
January 8 - GUMY from 6 to 8 pm (B.O.B. Night – Bring Our Buddy is always the first Sunday of every month). Bring your friends and hang-out, socialize, use the gym, play games, etc.
GUMY FUNDRAISER, SUB ORDERS DUE JANUARY 8. Delicious Italian subs are available for only $3.50 each! Church members, please see any member of GUMY to place your order or use the sign-up sheet in the Narthex. Seventh through ninth graders, please provide your sub total to Kelly Hubler (kellyhubler@comcast.net). Tenth through twelfth graders, please provide your sub total to Stacey Forshey (forsheyfamily5@comcast.net)
January 15 - GUMY Birthday Blast Potluck Dinner from 5:30 to 8 pm. The entire Church Family is invited to attend. Please bring a covered dish to share. You won't want to miss the Grace Puppet Squad (GSP) Black Light Performance! Sign-up sheets are available.
January 17 - GUMY Advisors' meeting at Church, 7 pm. The meeting will include prepping for subs.
January 18 - All GUMY Youth and Advisors are invited to help make subs in the APR immediately after school. Subs will be available to pick up from 4 to 6 pm in the APR.
January 20 and 21 - DARE 2 SHARE (Teen Evangelism Training) @ Hylton Memorial Chapel, Washington DC. Cost is $75 pp. Talk to any GUMY youth or advisor who has attended this event and they'll tell you this is not one that you'll want to miss! It's not too late to register. Please see the sign-up sheet in the Youth Room.

January 28 - Join us in the church kitchen to make soup with Pat Cassel.

Looking forward…. Youth Sunday is February 19th June 21 through 26 - Philly Extreme 2012 Summer Mission Trip at $90 per person. (GUMY will pay $60 for a total cost per person of $150.) More info and sign-up sheet in the Youth Room or contact Stacey Forshey. Final registration deadline is March 1, 2012.
