GUMY will be sending Valentine's Day candy to our college students. If you're interested in donating, please drop off bags of candy to the Youth Room by February 12th. Thanks!
February 5 – GUMY Super Bowl Party at Rebecca Brownell's House. The fun starts at 5:30 pm. Please bring canned goods which will be donated to the Hummelstown Food Bank. Youth 7th through 9th grades - bring a sweet or salty snack. Youth 10th - 12th grades - bring a beverage. Advisors, please bring a covered dish. Youth are responsible for getting a ride to and from Rebecca's home. Please contact a GUMY Advisor if you need help with transportation.

February 19 – Youth Sunday. Please join us as GUMY Youth share their spiritual journey during all three services. (NOTE: No GUMY event in the evening.)

February 26 – GUMY Soup Sale Fundraiser - Pick up your order of Pat Cassel's famous Chicken Rice Soup. Sign-up sheets available in the Narthex.
GUMY/TY Event. Old man winter is in full force, so you know what that means ….the highly anticipated Snowtubing at Ski Roundtop! Cost is $15 p/person which includes snowtubing, food and beverage. Please be at the church by 4:30 pm. We'll return to the church at 8 pm.
GUMY Events - Looking Forward… March 4 - GUMY B.O.B March 9 and 10 - 30 Hour Famine March 11 - No GUMY March 18 - Pot Luck Dinner/GUMY Talent Show June 21-26 - Philly Extreme 2012 Summer Mission Trip. Cost is $90 p/person. (GUMY will pay $60 for a total cost of $150 pp). Additional information is available from Stacey Forshey. Sign-up sheet in Youth Room. Registration must be received by March 1.
The results are in. The Grace Birthday Bash Potluck Dinner held on January 15th was a huge success! Entertainment was in full force and everyone enjoyed the Angel Choir, Junior Praise Team, Youth Praise Band, and the Creative Ministries Team … each providing amazing performances. Of course, we can't forget the very entertaining Lip Sync Puppet Contest! Wasn't it fun watching the contestants trying out their puppet skills? And, it was overheard several times that "this is not as easy as it looks!" A big congrats goes out to Jacki Kratz for taking first prize in the Lip Sync Puppet contest! Also, thanks to the $70+ in donations. GUMY can now fund another ticket for Dare2Share. A big round of applause goes out to everyone that organized, participated, and attended this event.
TY Kids
TY Kids meet once a month on Sundays. We open with prayer and devotions and then experience a fun type of event either in the All Purpose Room or an outing such as minature golf, laser dome, dinner theater, ect.
