Women of Faith

This women’s group meets monthly from 6:30-8:30pm at Grace.  Typically meetings take place in the FOCUS Room (Rm# 202).

  • Tuesday, October 17th: Service Project 
  • Tuesday, December 5th: meet in the Room 201/203 for a cookie exchange!
  • Tuesday, January 16th: meet in Room 201/203 for a “Birthday Party”
  • Tuesday, March 20th: “How Does Your Garden Grow?”
  • Tuesday, April 17th: Service Project
  • Saturday, May 5th: meet in the APR for our “Tea for You and Me” (event for all ladies and the special women in their lives)
 

Women’s Evening Bible Study

This group meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 6:30pm in the Focus Room (RM# 202).  Check out the upcoming meeting dates for some holiday adjustments.
 
Current Study: “Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World”.
There are both video and book components to the study. The video is on Right Now Media and the book can be obtained a couple of ways:
*We have a few left available at Grace, we would just ask for an $8 donation.

Wednesday Morning Bible Study

The Wednesday morning bible study group meets in the Fireside Room at Grace on Wednesdays from 9:30-11:30am.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Knitters/Crocheters meet in the Fireside Room on the second and fourth Sundays of the month at 3:00pm.
 
Knitters and crocheters come together and use their talents to make prayer shawls.  All knit shawls are prayed over before being distributed. These prayer shawls are used to console those who are grieving, comfort those who are ill, and bring hope to those in despair. They may also be knit/crocheted to celebrate life and its milestones.

  • Featuring books from the National UMW’s Recommended Reading Program
  • Topics from five categories:  Community, Leadership, Mission, Spiritual Growth and Social Action
When:  This group meets one the third Sunday of the month from 8:30am-9:30am in the conference room at Grace.
