Welcome to GUMY!

GUMY (Grace United Methodist Youth) is for youth in 7th through 12th grades.  GUMY meets every Sunday of the month from 6-8 PM in the Youth Room for devotionals, group games, food, and fun!  Every couple of weeks we also have special off-site trips. Our largest event is usually a camping experience retreat at Gretna Glen.  If you’re a youth in 7th through 12th grades or an adult who would like to volunteer some time with the group, you can contact Yvonne (gumy@gracehummelstown.org).

About GUMY

Youth do not need to be members of Grace Church to participate in GUMY events! GUMY meetings are filled with fun, fellowship and faith…and always food! A night at GUMY might include:

  • GaGa Ball
  • Basketball
  • Corn Maze
  • Movie Night
  • Service Activities
  • Obstacle Courses
  • …and anything else our youth and advisors can think up!

GUMY is under the direction of Grace Church and the Youth Director, Yvonne Abela.  All adult volunteers who assist with the program are Safe Sanctuary compliant and have the required background clearances required by state law allowing them to work with children and youth.
