Join team “Grace Gallopers” this year at the Hershey/Hummelstown CROP Hunger Walk on Sunday, October 22nd.  The walk will begin around 1pm in the parking lot of the Milton Hershey High School football field.
Or check out the table in the Narthex at Grace for more details.
CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide events sponsored by Church World Service and organized by religious groups, businesses, schools and others to raise funds to end hunger in the U.S. and around the world.

Grace is currently sponsoring the Ready for School Program for the 17th year!

The Ready for School Program helps to support marginalized families in our community who need school supplies in time for back to school.  The Grace Family has been asked to help 415 students in our surrounding school districts by having their basic school supplies ready and waiting for them the first day of the 2017-2018 school year.

You can help us reach our goal by supporting the project with prayer, supplies and monetary donations.  On average, a fully-stocked backpack cost is $40 and when you multiply $40 by the 415 backpacks needed this year, the amount can be overwhelming.  We are able to purchase backpacks and supplies in bulk at a savings, but still need to raise over $10,000 to meet the needs of the schools this year.  We will be accepting donations throughout the summer months to help us reach our goal.  Look for our “Backpack” collection box located in the Narthex at Grace.

We can all share our blessings with others and make a difference in our community.
